The Wayward Willis is an official podcast!  Our first three episodes are live on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Soundcloud, and Patreon.  You can find us by searching or by clicking the provider links on the right-hand side of the blog.  In addition, we’ll be posting all new episodes to the blog so you can listen to them here on WillisWeb.  Give us a listen!

WillisWeb can now be accessed via a new URL: http://willisweb.blog! The new URL functions the same as .com but reserves my place in the blogosphere. Give it a try!

I’ve decided to get The Wayward Willis on Twitter. It was a tough decision because I actually kind of hate Twitter and everything it stands for. However, it’s become clear to me that your content can actually circulate and get read if you spread it on multiple platforms. All posts from now on will be linked on Facebook and Twitter. Feel free to share!

The Wayward Willis is back online! After having gone on an extended hiatus from blogging I decided that this site either needs to be used or it needs to go away forever. Going away forever, though, poses a problem with the history this site has in social media. No, I never had a billion followers or influenced any public policy but there are some articles from way back that still hold value and I think they should be preserved. Feel free to disagree. Let me know in the comments.

Today I installed an eCommerce plug-in (because I want that flexibility in the future, if I so desire) and it sort of broke my site.  Since disabling and re-enabling the plug-in everything appears to have gotten back to normal.  If you’re having issues with the site, please let me know.

Yesterday, JT Eberhard plugged my blog because of my letter to the Catholic League (which seems to have gone ignored, of course).  I’m so pumped because that made yesterday my highest traffic day of all time!  Plus, I admire the hell out of JT and getting an endorsement from him is very flattering.  Anyway, this has motivated me to write more frequently so we’ll see if something really comes of that.  Cross your fingers!

The last few weeks have been crazy and I just haven’t had time to keep up with my blog.  We moved to St. Louis and I had some trouble setting up my Internet connection (thanks a lot, AT&T) but finally got it all worked out.  The apartment complex had their pool party on Saturday and I spent 4 1/2 hours roasting in the sun with less-than-waterproof sunblock so now I have second-degree burns on 90% of my torso.  Ouch!

Anyway, I’m going to get this blog rolling again and I hope to pick up some more readers as I begin posting a little bit more variety in the future.  Thanks for stopping by!
