So, I checked out Justin Bieber’s Rolling Stone interview because GodlessLiberal posted a pic about it. That kid is just another conservative sheep. I already hated his music and now I get to hate his socio-political views (if you can even call them that). To recap, here’s the offending item:
He does have a solid opinion on abortion. “I really don’t believe in abortion,” Bieber says. “It’s like killing a baby.” How about in cases of rape? “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don’t know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”
What a douche. Fuck you, unfortunate rape victim! Your baby has a purpose so the rape was obviously not a big deal.
Bieber showing off his future-wife-beater douchiness.
Goddamn. People are getting dumber and dumber all the time. I’m moving to Switzerland.

Yeah I saw about that too. Giving Canadians bad names, most of us are very humanitarian, not “NO U MUST KEEP UR BAEBI EVEN IF ITS INCEST RAPE IMPLANTED ON YOUR FALLOPIAN TUBE THAT WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
lol seriously though.
Bahahahahaha. Too bad Hallmark doesn’t make an “I’m sorry you were raped” card.
Douchebag.
he’s 16! my god you people are so hateful. http://beebizzle.xanga.com/741465362/for-those-mad-at-the-beibsabortion-thing/
@the_rocking_of_socks – OH SNAP!!! Nice!
@beebizzle – I agree. He’s 16 years old! Give the kid a break. I don’t think most 16 year olds really understand the true magnitude of rape much less the concept of abortion.
Rolling Stone shouldn’t have been asking those questions. Beiber shouldn’t have been answering them.
Yes he’s allowed an opinion, but he has to be care of how he voices it because a bunch of his teen fans are going to mimic him and his views.
That said, I’m not terribly surprised that these are his views. He’s said before that he’s a pretty devout Christian and I assumed (rightly) that his parents may have instilled their particular values on him. (I know not all Christians think rape happens for a reason.)
What I’m really surprised about though, is that people aren’t making a stink about him calling the USA evil (even though it was a joke).
At 16 I mostly only knew what my parents believed. Give the kid a freakin break!!!! You know who is a moron? People that post about multi-millionaires as if they’re stupid or something. If they’re so dumb and you’re so smart, why don’t you have a movie, book, 28 million fans on facebook, multiple platinum albums, etc etc.? Just curious
I think everyone needs to give him a break. OMGOSH God forbid that he should have an oppinion that isn’t LIBERAL or something… I mean you know what really makes me giggle in situations like this? The fact that IRL you live and breathe with people who have opinions like this every darn day. You probably have just never dug deep enough into your family, friends, etc to really know that they DO have opinions like this.
I am very surprised sometimes by the things that I find out (over YEARS) that my best friends agree/disagree with etc… Does that mean that I think that they’re “MORONS?” no… it means that I humbly believe that they are misinformed… Oh well, not the end of the world, move on.
I also completely agree with what @Simbathe2nd – said. He might be stupid, but he’s stupid on a few million 😉
Peace
Yeah… I tend to lean on the conservative side of most issues but even I think he’s retarded.
@Simbathe2nd – In this media-driven, entertainment-centered culture it’s possible (and common) to be a complete moron and be a millionaire. That says absolutely nothing whatsoever about how moronic I am; I simply chose to take a different path and my life doesn’t revolve around having fans and money. The comparison is bad.
I totally agree with your statement about knowing only what your parents told you. The difference – again – is that you and I as 16-year-olds didn’t have millions of people hanging on our every word.
@Winsa – It’s not about being liberal. It’s about having the common decency to recognize a woman’s right to control her body and the compassion to realize that rape victims don’t accept “everything happens for a reason” when they’ve been defiled, degraded, and are facing the prospect of carrying their attacker’s spawn. If understanding those concepts make me liberal, then I’ll own it. It’s incredibly callous and mean-spirited to hold the views that Bieber verbalized.
And I actually do know the political, social and religious views of my friends and family. If they were to verbalize something like this (and some of them have) then I have no problem whatsoever calling them out on it. The funny thing is, we’re still friends even though they know I think they’re being morons.
@CoderHead – good, you should still be friends with them.
@CoderHead – Exactly. The kid got a lucky break, that’s all. He sang well enough, and a record company decided to cash in on that and his looks. It’s a well-executed, Machiavellan plan. Something which Bieber himself had little (if anything) to do with. He’s just a pawn on the chessboard of pop culture.
Plus, look at idiots like Little Wayne. Dear gawd, what a hack. LOL!
@Simbathe2nd – See my reply ^ to CoderHead.
It really just sounds like an opinion he scraped together and really knows nothing about. I’d call him a moron, except I don’t even remember in what stage of development my thoughts were on this issue at 16. These questions seem pretty irrelevant to begin with, but I guess anybody of fame could be lead into it.
I don’t know why Rolling Stone asked a 16-year-old political questions that were obviously over his head. In any case, he appears to be conservative about abortion but liberal about health care.
It’s his opinion. Just b/c he disagrees with your views doesn’t make him a douche.
Just read another blog that says we’re not suppose to read Justin Bieber is a Moron
@LifeNeedsProtection – It’s not that he disagrees with my views. It’s that he’s adopted an uninformed and ignorant stance on the treatment and care of victims of violent crime for reasons that seem to be tied to a naive, hand-me-down religious view. “I’m sorry you got raped but everything happens for a reason” is cold, callous, and moronic.
@Randy7777 – That makes me feel special. LOL
@CoderHead – One of my friends was raped at 16. She refused to have an abortion (1976) because of her faith. Today, she never regretshaving this child she gave birth to and loves her dearly. Her daughter also expressed her thanks to her mother for not aborting her. They love life. Perhaps there can be some good coming out of evil.
@LifeNeedsProtection – I’m glad your friend came through the experience and found joy with her daughter. It’s a heart-warming story. It does not, however, change the fact that she should have had the choice to carry it or abort it due to the circumstances and this choice is exactly what Bieber and his ilk are proposing to remove.
It’s also ugly to excuse the act of rape just because your friend loves her daughter. Not every woman will find themselves in an emotional situation where they can keep, love, and raise a child who is a constant reminder of trauma. What are you going to tell them? “Tough luck?”
@CoderHead – No ….not a constant reminder, but a reminder that good can out of evil. Isn’t every life precious?
@LifeNeedsProtection – Maybe not for your friend in particular but what about the women and girls who are assaulted and never really find a way to get over it? You’re looking at the world through the lens of a single instance that you find to be favorable. Broaden your scope a little bit and look at the emotional trauma and turmoil some of these women face. Are you going to be the one to force nine months of misery and heartache on them carrying their attacker’s baby and further humiliate them by telling them they’re horrible people if they even consider aborting the pregnancy? Sometimes good doesn’t come out of evil. Sometimes it’s only evil. That’s reality.
Every life has value, yes. However, there’s a big push to place the value of a potential human higher than that of a living, breathing, viable human and I think it’s wrong. The raped woman (or girl) has more value than a ball of cells attached to her uterus via forcible sexual intercourse. Until that ball of cells develops a heartbeat and is truly alive, the woman’s life is the only one that counts.
@CoderHead – It is true that everyone is different and can or cannot handle certain circumstances. I guess I look at all the people who would want a child — wondering if this woman in her grief and despair could find some good out of a horrible event and give the child up for adoption. Painstaking I am sure. But I have also had friends who have aborted and live with “what ifs” all their lives. It’s been nice chatting with you. Take care!
STFU justin didnt even mean it like that. Its people like you that give him a bad name! Damn, get over yourself. Everything does happen for a fucking reason. Kay thanks bye <333
@chelsxxbaybeee – LOL, troll. He gives himself a bad name.
